Robert Burns, also known as Rabbie Burns was born the 25th of January, 1759. He was also known as Rabbie Burns, the Bard of Ayrshire, Ploughman Poet. He was a Scottish poet and lyricist. He is known worldwide as the national poet of Scotland and his birthday is celebrated by Scots every January 25th.
